Using add-ons
How do I manage bundled add-ons?
Open Extensions in Hakone to manage your add-ons, change their settings, or turn them off. Bundled packages are included with the player, so this site links to their source instead of offering a separate download.
Can I install add-ons made for VLC?
No. Hakone has its own add-on system, package format, and APIs. VLC add-ons need to be ported and packaged for Hakone before they can be used in its Extensions manager.
What can an add-on access?
Packages declare the permissions they need. The player handles access to media, network requests, and credentials. When you install a package, or an update requests more access, Hakone asks you to accept the permissions first.
